pointsElevation model visualisation for Slovenia, Italy and Croatia
The web map provides raster LiDAR layers (SVF — Sky-View Factor) for the entire Rapallo border area: Slovenia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Croatia. The data allow identification of fortification remains and terrain structures that cannot be detected with conventional base maps. The LiDAR data are hosted on ZDRM's own servers — this entails ongoing infrastructure and maintenance costs.
If you find the LiDAR visualisation and other registers useful, we invite you to become a member of the Historical Society Rapallo Border. Membership fees cover server infrastructure costs, GIS service hosting and the Society's activities.
